Read below for answers to your questions about MyLibraryService.org. Question:  The new MyLibraryService.org site does not display on some of my computers. Instead, I get an old SEFLIN Web page. How do I get to the new site?
Answer:  When you attempt to go to the new MyLibraryService.org site, your computer may display a cashed copy of what is obviously an old SEFLIN Web page instead of the new site. This happens because your computer stores copies of frequently visited Web pages on your hard drive to help these pages load more rapidly. If your browser displays an old SEFLIN page, instead of the new MyLibraryService.org page, you must press the 'control' key on your keyboard and hold it down while clicking the 'reload' or 'refresh' button on your browser. This should load the new MyLibraryService.org page onto your computer.

Question:  What browser version is the minimum requirement for viewing and searching the MyLibraryService.org Web site?
Answer:  
For computers running the Windows operating system: Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher and Netscape 4.7 or higher are required for using the site.  For Macintosh computers: Netscape 4.51 or higher is required.

Question: What settings are needed on my computer for the 'single-search' technology of 'Search Libraries & More' to work properly?
Answer: If you are experiencing problems with the 'single-search' function make sure your Web browser is set to accept all 'cookies' and has JavaScript enabled.

Also, if your computer is part of a local area network, security settings and firewalls for the network may prevent you from viewing the full-text of items found in 'Search Libraries & More'. If you have this problem, please contact your network administrator. The network must have port 5554 open to view the full-text of items found in searches.
