Description
The University Libraries are housed in the Stephen and Dorothea Green Library at University Park and in the Library Building at the Biscayne Bay Campus. They provide access to information on a global basis and play a crucial role in the support of instruction; in scholarly communication; and in expanding information literacy within the University community through direct instruction. The Libraries are State and Federal Government depositories. The collections are reflected in WebLUIS, the online catalog of the State Universities of Florida, and include over 1.5 million volumes, plus a wide range of electronic resources. There are over 9,000 journal subscriptions, including 2,000 in electronic full text. Through the Libraries' homepage the user can access countless databases, holdings of other libraries and much more.
Library Use Policy

Members of the public are invited to join the Library Associates whose membership help the Libraries stimulate an awareness of the Libraries' importance to the future development of the University and the community. All Associates are welcome to use the Libraries' collections and to borrow under the prevailing regulations.
