How to use Article Search

The 'Article Search' page provides access to a collection of electronic resources provided by the State Library of Florida. Descriptions of each resource are available by clicking the resource name on the Article Search page. Searching is restricted to library card holders from the six public libraries that are SEFLIN members. A listing of these is provided at the bottom of the Article Search page.

  1. Select the library where you have a card by using the 'Choose a Library' pull-down menu.
  2. Enter the requested information.
  3. Type in your search term(s). This is a 'keyword' search that lets you match words found in the articles themselves, not just controlled index terms.
  4. Select the resources you wish to search. You may also add a search of the Web with 'Google'.
  5. Click the 'Search' button. Your search results will appear momentarily.
